User Requirements
TeraLearn® has minimal user requirements. Users requires the following:
- PC with Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher (set to accept cookies) or
- Mozilla Firefox 2.0 or higher (set to accept cookies)
- Mac OS 10.4 or higher with Safari 3.04 or higher (set to accept cookies)
- Popup blocker turned off or set to accept LMS domain
- Adobe Acrobat reader (required to view/print User Manual and certificates)
- Adobe Flash Player 7.0 or higher (required to view/play help movies)
- 100 kbs or higher Internet connection
- Computer monitor with 800 x 600 resolution or higher (user level)

Author Courses Using Microsoft Office Products
The TeraLearn® publishing system tools enable your training team to design, develop and deploy web-based training using Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Authoring tools and difficult to use programming languages are optional but not necessary. This empowers instructors experienced with popular Microsoft office products to publish courseware. TeraLearn®'s publishing features provide options to your organization for decreasing development cost and time.
Content Maintenance and Updating
The shelf life of content atrophies over time. Highly volatile content such as product knowledge may require every screen of a course to be updated every six months. Overall, we estimate that on an annual basis approximately 25% your content will need to be updated and refined. TeraLearn® provides robust content management tools to allow users, instructors, developers, managers and administrators to participate in product improvement. These tools support identifying, tracking, assigning and rating criticality of content. This effectively reduces your cost of ownership of your e-learning library.
Reusable Learning Object Support
TeraLearn® allows you to easily create, manage and automatically update course objects. You can create a new course in 10 minutes or less by selecting objects from the course section library you have built.

TeraLearn® is SCORM 1.2 and 2004 compatible. The Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) is a set of integrated specifications built upon the work of the AICC, IMS and IEEE to create one unified "content model". This allows your organizations to more easily implement off-the-shelf products. We have tested and verified that we support Adobe® Captivate 4 SCORM compliant files. TeraLearn® guarantees compatibility with SCORM based 3rd party products as well as port your SCORM courses to other systems. TeraLearn® enables organizations to upgrade and/or downgrade SCORM compliance levels. It easy... just upload your content, select your SCORM standard. See example screen below:
Section 508
TeraLearn® provides a comprehensive performance support system allowing the publisher to incorporate help, documentation, jobs aids, glossary, reference and URLs within course structure and externally to courses through hyperlinks. No programming is required and it's fast and easy.
Virtual Rooms Integration
TeraLearn® enables your organization to launch and manage the Hewlett-Packard Virtual Rooms as well as other popular 3rd party VCs and collaboration products with integrated waitlist and reschedule features. Remote development is facilitated with live demonstrations and file sharing that allow project team members to share resources and desktop, live.
Instructor-Led Classroom (physical)
TeraLearn® supports the management of physical classroom resources including room setup, scheduling and automatic notification. The developer and/or administrator can add registration notifications as well as directions a picture of the instructor etc.
Web-External
TeraLearn® allows you to turn any web resource into a training resource. This enables your organization to integrate, launch and manage external web resources including FTP sites, URLs or PDF file as web-based training. On-The-Job Training
TeraLearn® provides companies the ability to deploy on-the-job training checklists, to schedule end-user performance demonstrations and provide online feedback and status by a manager or instructor. This is a very effective way to deploy level 3 evaluations.

Testing/Assessment
A robust test generation and reporting engine is fully integrated with the TeraLearn® LCMS. Test item types include:

Administrators or developers can configure tests to include sections, fixed or randomized question order, pass/fail criteria, color, size, retake and correct response feedback. It is also possible to import and place GIF, JPEG or FLASH files to complement your test.
Certificate
Course Certificate provides the organization the ability to configure, customize and deploy a printable certificate in PDF format for any completed course. The course developer or administrator may upload company logo, graphics, frame color, back ground color, customize text, instructor name and title. The organization has tremendous flexibility in configuring the certificate to meet their unique needs. See example below:
Manager Approval
Courses can be designated as requiring manager approval for user access. The manager can approve or not approve course participation with automatic notification to the user.
Prerequisites/Training Plans
These provide you with the ability to set a required learner path. In this manner, you can set up a training plan.
Reports
The ability to run robust detailed user, product, instructor, management-rollup and a demographic report is a key feature. Reports generated may be printed or downloaded in a comma-delimited format allowing thorough analysis.
Audit Trail
The audit trail report provides companies with the ability to track:

Customization
TeraLearn® provides the ability to customize banners, color, most text screens and languages. If your organization has international users you can translate the interface into languages such as Japanese, German or Spanish.
Enrollment
TeraLearn® facilitates easy enrollment of new users using a bulk loading template provided each client company. Each user may be enrolled automatically in three unique training groups and courses. In addition users may be deactivated in bulk. These features are particularly valuable for initial deployment of online learning as well as for organizations that have holiday hiring where the workforce may rapidly grow or decline over short periods of time.

Security
At TeraLearn® we believe that security of our client data is critical. TeraLearn® provides secure socket layer file encryption (SSL) as a standard feature for all client companies at no additional fee. SSL encryption insures that course content, user records and company intellectual property are protected. In addition TeraLearn® enables client organizations to time out passwords on a periodic schedule to protect from unauthorized access. Last but not least when a user forgets his/her password, TeraLearn® generates a unique one time alphanumeric password upon request to the user. This password must be immediately changed by the user to gain access to TeraLearn®.
