Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS) Fundamentals

Description
e-Learning technology continues to evolve making rapid publication of courses possible without expensive hard to use tools, time consuming installations and frustrating learning curves. This workshop examines the emerging Learning Content Management solutions using the TeraLearn® LCMS. We will provide specific examples of how to publish quality WBT and Virtual Classroom products using popular Microsoft office products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel). In addition we will examine lowering cost of ownership through content management.
After completion of the workshop you will:
- Identify how to rapidly publish online surveys/tests/assessments with user feedback
- Assign users to courses, curriculums or training plans based on performance or user profiles
- Produce courses in 5 minutes or less using reusable learning objects
- Turn any web resource into a WBT including PDFs, FTP sites, documentation, and 3rd party courses
- Integrate offline activities and performance support into e-Learning
- Dramatically lower live cycle costs of e-learning using content management tools, systems and tracking.

Online Assesssment and Testing Solutions (TeraLearn® 102)
Description
This workshop will exams best practices Level One (Course Evaluation), Level Two (Course Knowledge Testing), Level Three (Transfer of Learning To The Job) assessment and evaluations. The course will exam output of student evaluations and charting, graphing and test item analysis (validation) to assessment instruments.
After completion of the workshop you will:
- Identify how to create an online reusable test library
- Identify how to create an online reusable survey library
- Create 4 test Types with graphic, animation and 3 Levels of user feedback
- Define demographics and how demographics effect test and assessment design
- How to validate survey, test and performance measurements (item analyst and performance analysis)
